Awesome, no? The price tag (Which maybe a temporary price set) seems a bit high, in my opinion. $40-$60? But I'm sure that won't stop this thing from getting sold out! Edited by Arkane on May 14, 2010 at 22:35:30.
This made me happy. Deep, deep down inside. I wouldn't mind seeing this printed on sturdy cardboard and big print. Edited by Nayus Dante on January 5, 2010 at 23:49:16.
Keiji Inafune was recently promoted to oversee all of Capcom's production studios. He'll obviously have less time to focus on the Mega Man franchise as a whole. With the popularity of Mega Man 9 and 10, odds are that a number 11 will be released eventually. Now, imagine that the Capcom managers come to you to design that new game. What would you do? Another NES-like title? A shiny, modern 2D platformer? An on-rails 3D game? Something else? What about the enemies? The music?
Warning fan-film alert. Fantards approaching at high speeds. I literally came close to sharting my pants when I saw this. Anyone else care to comment on what may end up being the worst looking fan film of all time? Seriously look at these screen shots.
As we're closing down the decade, I thought it might be fun to reflect on the past ten years, Mega Man style, and define what single event we believe affected the series the most.
The first 12 years of the series saw the birth of Mega Man, one of the best known videogame icons; most of the run of the Original Series; the first steps of the X series; and the rise of the Legends period. It concluded with what I like the call the dark ages of the series: 1998-1999, with almost no new Me ...
Heat Man of the Mega Man Network has gone ahead and graciously translated the sixteen page manga included with the Mega Man 9 OST. This baby was done by Hitsohi Ariga and, as you can expect, earns Mega Man 9 a Level in Badass. Enjoy!
(clears throat)alright its time i revived my old topic.:cool:so which little evil robot do you like the most?for me its knight man, skullman and tomahawkman! i love those guys.
Here\'s the ones I own:
NES Games:Megaman 2 & 3
Gameboy:Megaman 1, 2, & 3
SNES: Megaman 7, Megaman X 1, 2, &3
PSX:Megaman X 4 & 6 and Megaman 8, plus the crap called Megaman Legends. I think I have a moderate collection, especially with Megaman X 3, which I had to go through hell and high water to get.
Do you eventually get the charged shot in Megaman 9 as the game progresses or is the game totally retro like megaman 1-3 with just the standard P-shot? I haven't had the chance to play this yet because it hasn't come out on the PSP.
I remember when I first beat Megaman 1....... which was last year of 2002.
I\'VE BEEN PLAYING THAT GAME SINCE I CAN\'T REMEMBER AND I FINALY BEAT IT LAST YEAR! Oh the feeling of actually beating the hardest game ever known to me was ..... was a feeling of new emotions.Oh the glory...... anyway I just had to tell you about it.What is the hardest game YOU have ever played?
I was always contemplating which games I like over others, so this is how I've classified them. You don't have to rank them all, just list the ones you've played, and rank them according to your own personal preference in order from favorite to least favorite and post whichever/how many series' you feel like by series.
Here I go:
Original Series:
> Mega Man 7
> Mega Man 3
> Mega Man 2
> Mega Man: Powered Up
> Mega Man 5
> Mega Man &a ...
First off, if you haven't seen The Animatrix, you need to watch both parts of The Second Renaissance, which is the backstory to The Matrix. This deals with why the machines rebelled, and the idea of a machine's right to life.
The Second Renaissance - Part 1
The Second Renaissance - Part 2
I personally think that this short film is the best example of robot dissent that I've seen in fiction. Is it wrong for a robot to defend its own existance? Is that not one of the th ...
This was just a cool little thing I'd thought you guys might be interested in.
I'm in Vegas atm, and my parents decided that we would get our food supply from the Dollar Tree store. While I was there, I was surprised to find 5" Megaman Figures (OFFICIAL CAPCOM PRODUCTS) for, surprise, 1 Dollar each. the ones they had here are as follows:
Megaman (Original)
Protoman
Bass
Orange and Blue Megaman (idk what power up this is >_>)
Quickman
Yeah, I'll admit it. This is the third incarnation of Mega Man that I now own (fourth if you count Powered Up). I wanted to post this so if anyone is curious about downloading it, I'll give you the low down, and compare it to other versions.
Graphics:
Very sharp, but less colorful. You made need to adjust the picture settings on your TV before you can get the best look for it. All of the sprites look very clean and crisp and don't have that blurry look that previous m ...
According to Capcom of Japan's website, in celebration of Mega Man 9, a Mega Man Energy Drink meant to resemble the E-Tanks will be released in limited supply soon. So far, they're currently only slated to be released in Japan. It's not certain whether or not they will be released over here, but we can hope, and we can always envy the Japanese of their cool and often exclusive merchandise. ;)
