I just found out by my best friend that at comic con this year there will be two exclusive megaman x figures. The first and my fav. one is a axl with the top crystel on his head shaterd. The next one is a nightmare zero figure. The toys will run for $10.00 each.Hopefully hes not yanking my chain becouse las time he said there was no zero omega exclusive last year and there was.
Well, I finally got me a PSP and a copy of both the MM games for it. And, having beaten all MHX has to offer in about a day totalled up, I have to say, the game doesn't oppose canon. Not even the movie. All that changes is that the responsibility for Sigma's scars goes to X as opposed to Zero. Sigma still fought Zero and all that, steeping on his head, the whole bit, but X gave him the scars, and life continues as normal. And... I heard that Cain dies in the movie? Must have missed that... A ...
With the Zero and Battle Network series' end, I was wondering if there are any plans for another X game? I don't have a DS so I won't be getting ZX or Star Force. This leaves me thinking, "are there gonna' be any more Megaman games for me?" I'm sure others want another X game as well so if anyone learns anything that may hint towards another sequel, post it here? X sereis was my first and favorite one so I hope it doesn't end just yet.
NewSpeed Runs. Tell us about your records! Started by Arkane on 13 December 2006 at 1:10
Speed runs are always fun! Especially for MMX games! You can view a bunch of them at YouTube.
I watched awhole bunch there today and it really got me in the mood to play MMX Collection and so forth. Some of these speed runs will just blow your mind!
Anyways, for my records:
I just beat Mega Man X1 in 27 minutes, start to finish, without using/obtaining the Hadoken. 13 stages, 2.07 minutes per stage on average (some maybe more or less).
Actually, it\'s not anything official yet, just some feedback from Capcom of Japan staffers (including Kitabayashi) on the possibility of a Rockman Axl series - \"if the fan demand is enough,\" that is. This particular bit can be found about halfway down, in the \"X\" section with the \"No.1\" text. It can be found at:
I have found the Openings for the MMX games on YouTube for anyone who is interested. Many of you have seen these before, I am sure. But these are also the Japanese intros that those with US games would not have heard.
I'm going to be somewhat frank, here. I love the original Mega Man timeline (meaning the original series, X, Zero, ZX, and Legends). I fell in love with the series because of it. But now, after 23 numerical installments (and a myriad of side games), I think Capcom needs to start thinking of how to tie up all the loose ends and have some sort of a big wrap. I'm thinking of:
1.) A Mega Man 9 that covers the fate of the original cast and provides a nice segue into the X series.
2.) A Mega ...
While searching for Mega Man pics, I stumbled across this rather interesting picture.
If you read the artist's description, you will find him giving rather interesting points on his theory. I personally think its a neat idea... honestly, what if that's what happened to Bass?
And before you open your mouths to flame the hell out of me, please keep in mind that while I find it a cool idea, I am of the belief that X and Bass are two seperate entities.
Has anyone ever wondered why through all the years of the x series, no one was able to make a perfect copy of him? Surely his design wasn't that advance to where it wasn't able to be copied for decades-centuries (however long the storyline was).
Personaly I could never come up with a theory on this, so I was wondering what you guys could come up with, using either factual evidence or just simple reasoning.
(It's not just the failure in copies of x that confuses me. Its also how even th ...
Which X Series boss do you really hate? Is it because they're unreasonably difficult, or are they super annoying?
I've got two. The hardest X Series boss is the tank boss in Megaman Xtreme 2. Words cannot describe its unfathomable difficulty. It only has one real weakness, and the platform you need to stand on to nail it is constantly shot at. Its huge ass takes up nearly 90% of the room. Touch it once, and you take unreasonable damage.
I noted before that you couldn\'t have any Upgrades like the Hearts, S-Tanks and Armors, now you can, just as long as your using just the X-Buster to kill the Boss.
I Think:
In MMX1 the hardest boss to kill using just the X-Buster is: Boomer Kuwanger, since he always moves around so much by becoming temporaly invincible.
MMX2: Crystal Snail, since he\'s most of the time sheilded, and then when his HP gets low, he makes puts you in Slow motion, making it hard to dodge and hit him. ...
I've been wondering about this for a while. They have a perfectly good reploid body that can fight, but even if they can't fix him, can't they study him to track the effects of teh Zero and Sigma Viruses? It's a whole lot of use for Capcom not to just chuck stuff away, if you get what I'm saying. I'd love to play as Gate as a secret character or someodd thing like that.
NewZero-Protoman!?!!? (123 ) This has been bugging me for a while Started by Hiro on 29 December 2003 at 4:45
There\'s a rumor going around that Zero is actually Protoman and did the same thing as X. Now, personally I\'m sceptical but \'m not sure. Could someone shed some light on this?
I was sitting here with nothing to do (and loving every second of it; man, I'm glad the semester is over), and I was thinking of the what seems like dozens of pointless spin-offs the various Mega Man series have. Do any of them ever have any impact on the storyline? Are the events of the games ever referenced in the numerical entries? I haven't picked up a Blue Bomber game in awhile and I'm just now playing through all of them again, so I'm asking everyone here. And I don't mean retroactive ...
Which is the easiest one? I think Sting Chaneleon because when you use Boomerang cutter he just falls off. There\'s lots of ones that a curtain weapon works well on. If there\'s one you don\'t know (Yeah, as if that\'s possible) then PM me and I\'ll tell you.
WARNING: ONE IS A TRICK. DO NOT POINT IT OUT. DO NOT TELL ANYONE WHICH ONE IT IS. DO NOT VOTE FOR IT.
Well, what is it? Only Sigma from X1 - X8 counts - no Xtremes.
Mine? Tie. X7 and X8.
X7: He captured the idea of Sigma completely - a big, bulky, dark-colored body with a low voice, a bad attitude, and lots and lots of guns. He also gave a good fight, and his final form brought a challenge.
X8: What's cooler than fighting the lord of Mavericks in his own base like in X1? Also, he had millions of ways he won that battle, and even though they say he died, he didn't, obviously, due to ...
the name of the topic esplain everthing one ask an stupid question about megaman x series and the other answer the question is just for fun tough don get ofense about the word "stupid" bacuse means nosense question so im going to start
I've read that he died. Many hints in the game say he died. The way L----e walked all over his dead body says he died.
But there are soooooo many plot holes if that is the case! Look - his data was in every new generation reploid, so the Sigma you fought at the palace could be one of thousands. The fact that Lumine went Maverick after Sigma's defeat shows that the virus - Sigma - is still alive!
